NASA celebrates Women’s History Month 2023 in style.

From “Celebrating the Women Who Tell Our Stories” to new initiatives spearheaded by female scientists, engineers, and officials, NASA has spent the month of March throwing a spotlight on the women whose work helps humankind keep reaching for the stars.

This month, some of NASA’s finest minds sat down for a panel discussion on women in STEM.

Among the many topics covered, one recurring theme was the unique role NASA has played historically and continues to play with regard to equal opportunities and advancements for women.

“Engineers and scientists are inherently creative souls,” says NASA Deputy Associate Administrator for STEM Kris Brown of her work. “I mean, that’s what we’re doing. We’re creating things. In a lot of instances, we’re creating something literally from an idea to reality.”
