A Cultural Phenomenon

When Game of Thrones premiered all the way back in April of 2011, the world was quite a different place. And I don’t mean Westeros.

  1. Who will kill Cersei Lannister? Answer: Arya Stark, with the Valerian steel dagger, wearing the face of Petyr Baylish, in King’s Landing.
  2. Who is the father of Cersei’s baby? A. Jamie Lannister, B. Euron Greyjoy or C. The Mountain/Cyburn. A: We’re going with the Mountain! Cyburn promised Cersei a baby who would never die. We’re also betting Cersei hedged her bets with, not only Jamie Lannister, but Euron Greyjoy, too. She’s crafty. Jamie Lannister, delete your account.
  3. Who will betray Daenerys Targaryen? According to strange-veil lady, Dany still has one more betrayal to go. Answer: Tyrion Lannister. Yeah, it’s going to hurt. But Tyrion thinks he is doing it for his family, poor soul. Love is the death of duty, Tyrion! Don’t do it!
  4. Who will kill the Mountain? Answer: The Hound. How can you kill someone who is already dead? Not sure about the nomenclature. Arya Stark and the Hound, back together on a mission to King’s Landing to make their own justice. Road trip!
  5. Jamie Lannister and Tormund Giantsbane will fight to the death over Brienne of Tarth. In a perfect world, they would! But this is Westeros, and if you think this has a happy ending, you haven’t been paying attention.
