In Foreign Policy, Marc Lynch warned of “The Coming Arab Backlash” on April 22, 2024, cautioning that “Middle Eastern Regimes — and America — Ignore Public Anger at Their Peril.”

But whose “Public Anger” should most concern lawmakers and would-be lawmakers on Capitol Hill? Some experts, like Mr. Lynch, believe the political fallout will emanate from Muslim-American voters eager to punish elected officials for wrongs perpetrated in Gaza by Hamas, real and imagined.
