There is a fierce debate raging right now in the fields of science and technology. There is always a fierce debate in the fields of science and technology, but this time it’s different.
At least, or so the combatants would have us believe.
Humanity, they tell us, might be in danger from something tech-created, a data-crunching Frankenstein’s monster of astonishing power. Down this particular rabbit hole of technological advancement, the great sages of Silicon Valley are warning, humanity must go this far and no farther.
