RIP NOLE REMAGEN

You may not now the name Nole Remagen, but I hope you will say a praer for his family tonight.

Mr. Remagen was a 19-year secret service agent, carrying out the much underappreciated as of protecting the president during that time.

Sunday, Mr. Remagen was in Scotland working on presidential protection when he took sick.

Unfortunately, he never recovered.

Nole Remagen passed away Tuesday, with his family by his side.

“Our hearts are filled with sadness over the loss of a beloved and devoted special agent, husband, and father. Our prayers are with special agent Remagen’s loved ones, including his wife and two young children. We grieve with them and with his secret service colleagues, who have lost a friend and a brother,” said President Trump.

Remagen was also a five year member of the United States Marine Corps, meaning he spent nearly his entire adult life making sacrifices for his country, something the president takes to heart.

“The incredible men and women of the United States secret service travel wherever they are needed around the world, spend long periods of time away from their families, and make tremendous sacrifices for our safety and security. They make up the most elite protective agency in the world, universally admired for their extraordinary skill, devotion, and courage. We are forever in their debt,” President Trump said

As somebody who is on the Board of the DEA Survivors Benefit Foundation, I know all too well about the sacrifices these unsung heroes make and the unbearable sadness their families endure when they pass away far too soon.

I urge you to remember the incredible service Nole Remagen gave to this country during his life and if you can, pick a charity that is near and dear to your heart and donate a few dollars in his name.

It is the least we can do to honor everything he did for all of us.
