Replacing Joe Biden?
Questions about the President’s age and fitness are rearing their ugly heads.
“Special counsel says Biden is ‘elderly man with a poor memory,’” wrote Ingrid Jacques wonderingly for USA TODAY on Friday. “And he’s the Democrat’s guy?”
“The special counsel’s report is no doubt humiliating to Joe Biden, but it is very pertinent information that the American people should be aware of months ahead of the 2024 election,” mused Jacques. “It seems Hur and his investigators in part declined to prosecute Biden because of his lack of mental fitness.”
“The president has been under investigation for the past year, after classified documents were discovered at his home and office,” Jacques reminded readers of USA Today. “Biden’s wrongdoing is clear and presented ‘serious risks to national security.’”
“‘Our investigation uncovered evidence that President Biden willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen,’ the report says,” wrote Jacques.
“Yet the Justice Department will not bring criminal charges against the president,” she concluded, because “Investigators found ‘Biden’s memory was significantly limited’ during interviews last year with the special counsel and in a recorded conversation with a ghostwriter in 2017.”
