Israel’s War Must Continue Until Every Hostage is Home
It’s been one year since Iran’s proxy terrorists kickstarted a war to derail peace progress in the Middle East. One hundred people are still being held hostage.
“Israelis mark a year since Hamas’ Oct. 7 terror attack with hostages still in Gaza and war growing around them,” Haley Ott reported for CBS News this morning.
“Israelis were marking a full year Monday since Hamas’ brutal Oct. 7 terrorist attacks, gathering at the sites of some of the atrocities to honor those killed and demand the release of those still held captive in Gaza,” began Ott.
The sad anniversary must be well nigh unbearable for those whose loved ones are still counted among the hostages still being held by Hamas. Kudos to the many fine media outlets, like the Free Press, willing to publish their stories.
“A Year Ago Today, Terrorists Stole My Son,” wrote Idit Ohel for the Free Press to mark the sad anniversary. “My oldest child went to a music festival. Then Hamas murdered his friends — and dragged Alon into Gaza.”
It’s been a year since that terrible day, and the fear in Israel is still palpable in many devastated Kibbutzes and shell-shocked communities.
