The way the legacy press piled onto President Joe Biden after Thursday night’s debate, it was almost as if they prepared all those hot takes, scathing criticisms, and gloomy naysaying in advance.

Media outlets and the network personalities who populate fading landscapes from the Washington Post to CNN barely waited for both candidates to leave the debate stage before unleashing an avalanche of cheap potshots at President Joe Biden.
