Harvard’s Antisemitism Report Uncovers Ideological Rot
Some are calling for a leadership change at the prestigious university.
Last week, Harvard published the results of its long-anticipated internal investigation into antisemitism at the school.
The results were every bit as bad as Harvard’s critics could have predicted. The report, 311 pages in length, includes such troubling admissions as:
“A new politics of some pro-Palestinian organizing appears to view bridge-building activities as a form of betrayal, and a new generation of student activists seems to have begun to perceive Israel as a symbol and vehicle of the evils of the United States and the rest of the Western world.”
And:
“A central feature of this politics is arguably the notion that despite its military strength, Israel is nonetheless vulnerable and dependent, that it can be affected by marches on American campuses and divestment and boycott campaigns in a way that could not apply to, say, China, Russia, or America itself.”
And worse:
“For many students, including Jewish ones, sympathy with the Palestinians was a natural response to Israel’s massive military response to the October 7th attacks and a rapidly mounting toll of death and destruction. This sympathy did not mean that each and…
