Distributors Censoring Newsmax Shouldn’t Bother
Audiences that have fled legacy outlets like CNN have more choices than ever — and they aren’t coming back.
“You people still don’t get it, do you?” posted one infuriated conservative reader in the comments section of maybe the millionth mainstream news article on the unique evils of Donald Trump published in 2020: “We didn’t vote for Trump because we love Donald Trump.”
“We voted for Trump because WE HATE YOU!!!”
The managing editor of every mainstream news outlet in the country should be forced to write that line 1,000 times: “They voted for Donald Trump because THEY HATE US.”
It answers a question media outlets have been asking for years.
The Intercept is being sued for libel — again — by deep-pocketed billionaire Erik Prince. There is no love lost between Prince and conservative voters. But the recent email appeal from the left-leaning Intercept begging for contributions to their legal defense fund probably provoked a bark of laughter from conservatives.
That is — if any conservatives remain on The Intercept’s email list.
