Far away from Washington, D.C., another Capitol Hill in Washington is suffering the slings and arrows of a similar fate. An incident last weekend in Seattle was a reminder of the scope of the problem.

“‘Nobody’s getting out’: Police look by and unruly street racing crowds grew to hundreds before Broadway/Pike shooting,” reported the community news outlet, Capitol Hill Seattle Blog on Tuesday.

“The Seattle Police Department has declined to provide additional information about the street racing call and directed CHS to the public disclosure process to access its reports on the hours before Sunday morning’s shooting that sent four people to the hospital at Broadway and Pike,” reported the community blog.
