Ignore the doomsayers: The state of the union is strong this July 4th.

The United States of America isn’t perfect: No nation ever is. But despite our differences and shortcomings, this country has so many uniquely American things to be grateful for.

The list of American inventions is long and getting longer all the time.

We invented the automobile, lightening rods, submarines, steamboats, armored warships, plows, sewing machines, ether anesthesia (bless it), vulcanized rubber, the telegraph, air conditioning, airplanes, televisions, frozen food, radio astronomy, the defibrillator, social media, nylon, digital computers, the internet, atomic reaction, electric guitars, video games, moon landings, space shuttles, artificial hearts, jazz music, record turntables, and the Super Soaker — just to name a few.

Will the list soon include an exotic propulsion warp drive? Maybe!

Warp Theorists Say We’ve Entered An Exotic Propulsion Space Race to Build the World’s First Working Warp Drive,” reported Christopher Plain for the Debrief on June 27, 2024.

Americans don’t always get along — but the state of our union is strong.
