The Democratic Party lost Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — The Republican Party found him. Can they keep him?

As Robert F. Kennedy Jr. faces a Capitol Hill confirmation process, it is worth considering RFK Jr.’s rare place in the echelons of the Trump Administration and beyond.

RFK Jr. certainly has his fair share of supporters within the Republican Party. Though he seems an unlikely convert to conservatism, Trump supporters have largely warmed to Kennedy in recent months. As such. Kennedy has plenty of defenders — even in the press.
