Biden might have failed to help Democrats keep the Oval Office, but he still has plenty of cheerleaders in the media. They are extolling him now to take a number of important actions before he leaves office.
“Democrats can still pull off a victory before year’s end: Lowering drug costs once more,” Howard Dean advised for Slate on November 22, 2024. “High medication costs are a common enemy for Democrats, Republicans and patients. There’s still time to fight.”
“What Biden can do as a lame duck president,” wondered Ivana Saric for Axios on November 18, 2024. “With about two months until Trump’s inauguration, key Democrats are calling on their party to make use of every last second of the Biden administration.”
