Progressive socialist candidates swept Nevada Democratic Party elections in March. The Nevada Democratic Party staff promptly resigned. Why?
Progressives were mystified last month by the events in Nevada and many still haven’t quite wrapped their heads around what happened, even all these weeks later.
Just as progressive, Democratic-Socialist candidates swept every single leadership position, and Nevada progressives prepared to celebrate, they received some shocking news.
The entire staff of the Nevada Democratic Party was resigning in protest.
Not only that, Nevada Democrats in leadership, seeing the writing on the wall long before Election Day, had taken the precaution of moving…
“I’m responsible,” said the celebrity public service announcement; “for racism in America.”
“I’m responsible,” the celebrity PSA went; as one film and television star after another declaimed most earnestly, gazing into the camera: “I’m responsible for systematic racism in America.”
The movie-star mea culpa meant well, but much like the cringeworthy “Imagine” video released in the early days of the pandemic, it was pilloried by media personalities and fans alike. The public statement was met with derision and mockery.
That performers, professional emoters, should come across as performing seemed a surprise to the wealthy, cosseted denizens of an industry which…
A growing need to proactively support good health is giving rise to new treatments for everything from infertility to erectile dysfunction. The only limit may be our unwillingness to talk about it.
Even before the pandemic increased the the number of people avoiding routine medical care and screenings, men suffering from erectile dysfunction weren’t over-anxious to talk to their doctor about it.
Due to the associated stigma, men with the problem rarely seek help. …
American troops have been welcomed by the Afghan people and many aren’t anxious to see them go.
The majority of people in Afghanistan don’t remember life before post-war reconstruction efforts began two decades ago.
64% of the country’s population is under 25. They are too young to remember a time before the Taliban fell in 2001.
In the United States, 2001 was the year the War on Terror began in earnest, the year the Twin Towers collapsed on live television, the year Homeland Security was born.
In Afghanistan, 2001 was the end of a dark period of violence and oppression…
The United States will withdraw all U.S. troops from Afghanistan by Sept. 11, 2021, the 20th anniversary of the al Qaeda attacks that triggered the longest war in American history, U.S. officials said Tuesday.
“We cannot continue the cycle of extending or expanding our military presence in Afghanistan hoping to create the ideal conditions for our withdrawal, expecting a different result,” President Biden said.
“I am now the fourth American president to preside over an American troop presence in Afghanistan. Two Republicans. Two Democrats,” Biden added. “I will not pass this responsibility to a fifth.”
Biden said the removal of…
James O’Keefe has struck again, but the real damage is already done.
It’s easy to dismiss the antics of undercover “journalist” James O’Keefe. His flagship media company, Project Veritas, since launching with a hilariously bad undercover expose of Planned Parenthood over a decade ago, has been desperately attempting to stick a thumb in the eye of every liberal politician, progressive movement and left-leaning organization in the U.S. ever since, without much success.
O’Keefe has been arrested, mocked, sued, settled, and sued again.
That he persists is a mystery to some leftists, though it really shouldn’t be. He is right’s answer…
The police officer who shot and killed Daunte Wright in a Minneapolis suburb on Sunday meant to fire her taser, according to a statement from officials on Monday.
“It is my belief that the officer had the intention to deploy their Taser, but instead shot Mr. Wright with a single bullet,” Brooklyn Center Police Department Chief Tim Gannon said of the shooting on Sunday. “This appears to me, from what I viewed, and the officer’s reaction and distress immediately after, that this was an accidental discharge that resulted in a tragic death of Mr. Wright.”
Officials released body-cam footage of…
We can’t censor political speech, we can’t raise the corporate tax rate, and the Green New Deal won’t work.
The developing world over, deforestation is still a major concern. Though it has fallen out of fashion, deforestation remains one of most serious problems faced by the environmental movement.
Some environmentalists have even decried the extinction earth crowd for distracting from some of the most pressing, immediate, and obvious, environmental problems the world is facing right now- not in ten years- like the destruction of wildlife habitats, ocean pollution and single use plastics.
Dealing with deforestation, not to mention habitat loss…
The wealth gap between the top 0.01% and the rest of us is incomprehensible.
If you were educated in the U.S. public school system anytime prior to the last decade, and probably anywhere else on Earth for that matter, you were likely shown a physical model of our solar system at some point.
Who can forget it?
The sun in the middle, Earth in the third orbit, it’s orbiting moon- all very orderly; the planets, rendered in carefully painted paper mache, their orbits, humble wire or string.
Only scientists had gotten it all wrong. For one thing, they were wrong…
Sure, the controversial drop of the Nike “satan shoes” was great for ad clicks…for about a minute. What happens to Lil Nas X now?
What seemed at first to confirm every religious conservative’s worst nightmare about the U.S. entertainment media industry, and thus couldn’t possibly be true, turned out to be only too true last week.
Lil Nas X- ingenue, budding cross-over pop star, erstwhile country singer of the hit single “Old Town Road”, released a limited edition Nike sneaker called the “satan shoes”.
Limited to a run of only 666 pairs, and advertised as containing a bronze pentacle, an…
