60 Minutes Hurt Kamala Harris (Trying to Help Her)

Paradoxically, progressive media bias is making Democratic Party candidates more vulnerable, not less.

“All the damning moments CBS edited out of Kamala Harris controversial 60 Minutes interview,” Rachel Bowman and Claudia Aoraha revealed for The Daily Mail this week.

“All of the damning moments that CBS edited out of their interview with Kamala Harris have been laid bare — after the Federal Communications Commission ordered for the original to be made public,” they began. “Donald Trump claimed the sit-down had been rigged — and the unearthed version now shows that CBS only aired 20 minutes of Kamala Harris talking, compared to 60 minutes that were filmed.”

The Daily Mail provided a helpful list of “the damning differences between the transcripts and what made it on air.”

One problem: “differences between the transcripts and what made it on air” are a matter of fact; Whether or not those differences were “damning” is a matter of opinion.

And therein lies the rub.

What ivy league educated journalists living in deep blue major cities like New York City and London consider damning is very different from what an average midwestern voter might think.
